Does it hurt?Updated a month ago

In short: yes, but only for a little in the beginning. Any pain you feel is a reflection of tension stored within your body.

The initial “Ouch!” will fade as you build a regular practice. Some people get past it sooner, while others take a little longer. But for most people, it takes around a week of daily use to get familiar with relaxing on spikes.

There will always be a sensation when you lie down, but that’s all part of acupressure. Cold plunge doesn’t work if the water isn’t cold, right? Even if you find your first few experiences uncomfortable – stick with it. We promise it’s worth it.
